ELSIE GABEL It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Elsie Gabel on January 22, 2013 at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, SK. Left to mourn her passing and cherish her memory are her daughter Allyson (Mike) Boes, grandchildren Leigh-Ann (Jason) Dale, Garth (Cindy) Boes, great-grandchildren Parker and Brock Dale and Layla and Lily Boes, brothers Len Schleining and Bob (Vera) Schleining and several nieces and nephews. Elsie lived most of her life in Winnipeg, moving to Saskatoon in 2010. She worked for many years as a retail manager in a ladies clothing store. She was a self taught cake decorator, loved baking desserts and doing many crafts like candle making and sand art. Elsie also enjoyed travelling, Grand Beach and shopping to find the perfect gift for someone. In keeping with Elsie's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will not be a service at this time.

I'm very sorry to learn about Elsie's passing.I worked with her for many years at Cliffords. We had the pleasure of meeting one day on the bus few years ago. We did a lot of talking catching up. She was a very nice lady. Please accept my sincere sympathy - Posted by: Kaz Teramura (friend) on: Feb 22, 2013
