MIKE (ADMAN) DAVIDSON It is with great sadness that we announce that Mike Davidson, beloved husband of Donna, passed away early Friday, February 15, 2013 at the age of 65. He is survived by his wife of 28 years Donna, daughter Elizabeth (Mike) Ashe, grand-daughters Victoria and Charlotte, son Barrie (Shelly), grandsons Nathan, Zachary and Ben, son Derrick, brother Ian and Aunt Maxine. Mike worked for the Winnipeg Free Press for 40 years as an advertising sales rep before his early retirement and leaves behind many friends. Mike was a true gentleman. He was a kind soul, quiet, unassuming and always willing to lend a hand. Selfless when it came to his family, he would always be there to help, without ever being asked. His wit and sense of humour always brought a smile to those around him. He loved being retired and constantly kept busy being the handy-man at home and restoring the cottage in Winnipeg Beach to fulfill the dream of living there permanently. Mike loved spending his summers out at his cottage with Donna, hosting family barbecues and having all the dogs underfoot. We will always have wonderful memories of your sense of humour, great advice and being the rock that we could all rely on. Thank you for being the good person that you were. We love and miss you. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a pet rescue shelter of your choice. As per Mike's wishes, a private cremation will take place.

  • Donna and Family Very saddened to read of Mike's passing. Myself and many of our friends grew up in the best of times in St. James.
