My deepest Condolences to the Layher Family. Anita was such a great lady. I have always and will always think of her as a grandmother. The Layher residence was practically my second home growing up in St. Laurent and Anita took great care to make sure Gina and I were always happy, healthy and FED :). I will miss this woman with all of my heart and soul. I have great memories of Anita that I will never forget and carry with me always! - Posted by: Jamie Brown (Life time friend of Gina) on: Feb 28, 2013

She was a beautiful and amazing woman who taught me a lot. The most important lessons were not verbal; they were in her actions. She always worked hard, never complained and was there when you needed her. She Loved ALL of us unconditionally. I thank her Sons for sharing her with me for the past 37 years. You allowed her to be Our Mother, but she was also my friend. She Loved her Grandbabies with her whole Self. She gave them such Joy, just by being in the same room with her. The “Happy Birthdays” sung over the phone to each and every one of them on their Birthdays, in her happy off key voice, sprinkled with laughter throughout. The Love showed to them by hugs and kisses and Strudle made for her Clan. Mom ~ If we could hear your voice one more time... see your hands just one more time... kiss you just one more time. The void in our hearts is great - We miss seeing your face and hearing your laugh. Thank you for everything you sacrificed for all of us, and for everything we are. We will miss her every day for as long as we live. - Posted by: Candy Layher (Daughter-In-Law) on: Feb 27, 2013
