JAMES ALLEN WRIGHT September 24, 1920 - February 25, 2013 It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of James (Jimmy) Wright at the age of 92. Jim passed away at the Fisher Personal Care Home on the evening of February 25, 2013. He leaves to mourn, his son Raymond (Debbie) and his sisters Eileen (Hughie) and Frances, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Jim was predeceased by his father, James Archibald Wright, mother Mary Christina Wright, brothers John Burns Wright, Robert Calvin Wright, Wilfred Malcolm Wright (Verna) as well as sisters Mabel Bauder and Dorothy Rheubottom. After serving his country in the service, Jim spent the majority of his life working his farm in the Fisherton area. He raised his son, Raymond by himself, while working the farm. Which was no small feat in itself. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a regular at the local events, such as fall suppers and picnics. Jim resided on his farm until his time as a resident in the Fisher Personal Care Home. His family would like to express their thanks to all the staff there for their wonderful care of Jim, particularly during his final days. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at the Ukrainian National Home, in Fisher Branch at 1:00 p.m. with a lunch following his interment at the Fisherton Cemetery.
