Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRENE MAY COLEMAN April 29, 1922 - February 25, 2013 Our loving mother and grandmother passed away, at age 90, as she lived - peacefully and with grace. Peacemaker, eternal optimist, lover of the arts, culture, world religions, travel, human rights and social justice. A woman of deep faith and a pillar of strength. Gentle, kind, generous and wise, with an infinite compassionate spirit and a wonderful sense of humour. Irene is predeceased by her husband Bernard, infant son Gregory, parents Ernest and Olive Williams, brothers Lloyd, Gordon, Harry and John. She is survived by her children Claire, Michael, Dan, Mary, Kathleen, Paul and Barbara; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Josephine and Audrey as well as 11 nieces and nephews. A Prayer Vigil and Visitation (Tuesday, March 5 at 8:00 p.m.) and Funeral Mass (Wednesday, March 6 at 11:00 a.m.) will be held at Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Church, 4588 Roblin Blvd. Our gratitude to those who helped care for and support our mother. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: SOS Children's Villages www.soschildrensvillages.ca So treasure her Lord, in Your Garden of Rest for here on earth she was the Best. Irene was such a kind and gentle soul. Loved by everyone. She will truly be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.
