JOYCE WILLIAMS (nee TILLSTON) May 25, 1928 - February 19, 2013 Joyce passed away peacefully at the Charleswood Care Centre at the age of 84 after a long struggle with Alzheimer's disease. She was predeceased by her parents Agnes and James Tilllston, her sister Betty Burdett, and her brothers-in-law Allen Burdett and Ron West. She is survived by her loving husband and lifelong companion Ken, her twin sister Jean West, her sons Peter (Vickie), Paul (Judy), David (Wayne) and John (Donna), her three grandchildren, Sean (Angela), Carla (Darrin) and Tegan (Karla), and her three great-grandchildren, Caleb, Jacob, and Ethan. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Charleswood Care Centre for the compassionate care they provided during her three and a half year residence and especially in her final days. Thanks also to the staff at Home Instead Senior care for their supportive care. A family service was held on Friday, February 22 at the Parkway Retirement Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. We have all missed her these past few years and now we say a sad goodbye.
