Predeceased by her husband Bento De Sousa, mother, father, two brothers and two sisters. Maria leaves to mourn, two daughters Maria Filomera (Graciano) Cabral and Hilda (Byan) Giesbrecht, four grandsons Gregory (Tina) Cabral, Steven Cabral, Erik Cabral and Ryan Giesbrecht, one granddaughter Amanda Giesbrecht, one great-granddaughter Kaitlin Cabral, one sister Almerinda Garcia, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. Pallbearers will be Gregory Cabral, Steven Cabral, Erik Cabral, Ryan Giesbrecht, Eusebio Carvalho, Paul Pavao and Peter Pavao. Prayers will be said on Thursday, March 7 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 8 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. North.
