Ken is survived by his beloved wife Rosalie of 42 years; his son Jeffrey with his wife Tanya and their daughter Lilyana; and Ken's daughter Rosalie with her husband Ben and children Danielle, Luc, Isabelle and Kaitlyn. Ken also leaves to mourn his brother Terry, cousin Gary (Pat) and family, cousin Don, nieces Kristin and Carrie Lee, in-laws Ray and Lorna Trush, their children Michael and Colleen and their families. He was predeceased by his parents Stanley and Eileen and brother Rick; aunts Hilaire Dalton and Phyllis Bentham, Uncle Earl and cousin Jack (Ilona); in-laws Stella and Mike Trush. Ken was born in Winnipeg where he lived most of his life. He grew up in Fort Garry where he learned to love football while playing for the Fort Garry Lions. His passion for the game continued as a lifelong Blue Bomber fan. Ken married Rosalie in 1970 and settled in Winnipeg to raise their family. He worked as a salesman and loved being self employed. They spent 27 years as cottagers in Belair, MB and eight years as retired residents in their newly built home. He cherished the many friends he made at the lake. Ken was a devout Catholic all of his life. Prayers will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at 1:00 p.m. on March 8, 2013, with Father James Gray officiating. Private interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery in Cooks Creek, MB. Honorary pallbearers are Jeffrey Taylor, Terry Taylor, Benjamin Dionne, Gary Bentham, Don Bentham and Ray Trush. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Association of Manitoba or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Thank you to Doctors Drexler, Homik and Czerniecki for their ongoing care.
