ROBERT (BOB) A. MALCOVITCH December 23, 1932 - March 5, 2013 Bob passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home, at the age of 80 years, with his wife of 55 years and his four daughters, whom he was so proud of, by his side. Left to cherish Bob's memory are his wife Lillian; daughters Dian Hardiman, Lori Hall (Scott), Nancy Stanley, and Cindy Ramberg (Matt); brother Rod Malcovitch; ten grandchildren who were his pride and joy; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Rebecca Malcovitch; and sister Ruth Korum. Bob worked for TransCanada Pipelines for 32 years before retiring to travel, fish, and learn how to build and fix computers. His greatest enjoyment though was being around his family whether it be spending countless hours at the hockey arena seeing his grandsons play, watching the kids play in the pool, or being part of a celebration in the backyard. In compliance with Bob's wishes a private family service and interment will be held. The family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation for the care he received from Dr. Harris at CancerCare Grace Hospital and the Palliative Care Team. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob's honour to the Palliative Care Education Program at St. Boniface Hospital, CancerCare Grace Hospital, or the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
