I was at work and just had the idea to google Gerald William Pankiw, and found his obituary. I have googled his name a couple times over the years but did not come up with anything. Was pleasantly surprised to find myself listed in his write up. Sincere condolences to his wife Joanne and his children. Maybe someday we shall meet? - Posted by: Geraldine Saugstad (Daughter) on: Oct 31, 2014

Although I only met Jerry briefly on my visits to Morris I know that he was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather to Joanne, Trish and Alisha - I know that he will be missed by all of his family and friends. Sorry I could not travel to Morris for the Memorial but know that my thoughts will be with all of you on Saturday. With much love Janet - Posted by: Janet Gardner (Alisha's grandmother) on: Mar 15, 2013

In 1997 our house burned down at 5:56 a.m. By 7 a.m. Jerry and Joanne were at our places with food, clothes and all we need, when our kids were small Jerry and Joanne would take them camping, fishing boating, WHAT a big bear with a wonderful heart - Posted by: ken and denise knutt (friend) on: Mar 12, 2013

Our condolences to the family. Gerry was a good neighbour. Enjoyed the time we spent with him at Buffalo Point and the couple times he came to Mexico. Our guys went fishing a lot in Mexico, they caught the biggest Dorado, while fishing with Gerry and Dave - Posted by: Richard and Betty (Friend and Neighbour) on: Mar 09, 2013
