We are very sorry to hear (Uncle) Gordie is gone from this world. Our family looked forward to his many visits out to our place in Stonewall. He was always so fun to be around and he always had a smile on his face. We loved when he made his famous goulash and tasty dill pickles. God bless you Gordie. You will be missed by all. - Posted by: Terry (Strauss) Sader (Family friend) on: Mar 15, 2013

Gordon spent many a holiday with us at my Mum and Dad's. There were always a few good laughs because he was very light hearted and easy going then. Gordon, Louise and my wife Diana and I attended my brother Don's wedding, in the summer of 1968, at Inglis. We got to ride in his precious car, that he groomed so immaculately, he wanted to wash it as soon as he travelled on gravel, and heaven forbid you left fingerprints. Audrey welcomed us into their home when we visited in Winnipeg, and Walter and Provie nearly always visited at the same time to hash over "old times". Gordon was greatly appreciative of family -but gradually drew away from us. I was surprized he lived at his most recent address 12 years, and I am so pleased that the people there so welcomed and enjoyed him. Thanks Doug for your call, and again, our condolences to you, your sisters, Lori and family, and Corrine. I am sorry we will be away and unable to attend the service, but perhaps you would be in touch again especially if you were passing through Russell, or just give us an update. Thinking of you, Jim and Diana P.S. Say goodbye to "Pumpkin" for us...This was Gordon's nickname. - Posted by: Jim & Diana deMontigny (First cousin to Gordon, Auntie Katie(Delipper) & George DeMontigny.) on: Mar 14, 2013
