Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANCES GILLIAN GORMAN July 5, 1956 March 14, 2012 At home, in White Rock, B.C., due to a sudden illness, youngest daughter of Joan Gorman and the late Ben Gorman, much loved sister of Angela, Sara and Eileen. Frances grew up in Winnipeg attending Laura Secord and Gordon Bell High School. She was known for her incredible passion and knowledge of books and literature, her wicked sense of humour, her love of cats and her beautiful red hair. A year has passed! So greatly missed. I appreciate that Frances’ family shared her memory in Winnipeg Free Press. Your sense of loss over this past year must have been great. Frances was such a special friend during high school and early adulthood, but as often happens, we lost touch. The influence she had on me has been life-long - there is an album and artist she introduced me to that is still on my play list! Over the years I’ve described her wicked sense of humour, late-night conversations, love of books, multi-talents and sense of style to my family as we’ve browsed pictures.
