  • I worked with Jean at Shoppers on Main Street for seven and a half years. A great person, everyone loved her style, her laughter, her smile. Darryl and I had the privilege of visiting with Jean and her Mom recently at Parkview Place Care Centre. They shared a room together and we enjoyed our visit with them immensely, never realizing that it would be our last. Jean's pride and joy were Cody and her grandson Preston, her face just beamed talking about her "boys". When one loves and is loved in return, they are never forgotten. Our deepest sympathies go out to all those who were precious to her. Darryl and Geri Murash (We will be away and unfortunately not able to attend this time of remembrance) - Posted by: Darryl and Geri Murash (Friends/former co-worker ) on: Mar 15, 2013

  • I knew Jean when she was at the Shoppers at Redwood and Main. Then years later, she was at Kildonan Place, where I now show. She was always very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. It was an honour to have known Jean. - Posted by: Chandannie Mathura (customer) on: Mar 15, 2013

  • Jean was my ray of sunshine at the cosmetics department. She was always so helpful and fun to talk with. She treated me so nice at all times. I am so sorry for your loss. I know it will be hard to replace such a lovely lady, it is hard to find people like her nowadays. - Posted by: Gloria Ivory (Former co-worker at Shoppers Drug Mart) on: Mar 15, 2013

  • My first job as a teenager was at the Brandon A&W and Jean trained me. She was a very fun loving person-always laughing, making jokes, and fun to work with. Deepest Sympathy to her family. - Posted by: Patti (co-worker at A&W Brandon (1979)) on: Mar 15, 2013

  • It is with great sadness that I read of Jeannie's passing. Uncle Gord told me she was ill back in January of this year. We lose touch over the years, but I still remember lots of good times growing up. Special condolences to the family - thinking of all of you at this sad time! Sincerely, Lois - Posted by: Lois (Boyd) Colquhoun (Old Childhood Friend) on: Mar 15, 2013
