ROBERT J. (BOB) FLOOD Sadly, our brother Bob passed away at Deer Lodge Hospital, from complications of a stroke. Bob was predeceased by our mom Paulines, dad Cyril, and brother Edward, and is survived by his sisters Margaret Schultz, Kathy, Dianne, Sheila Yamamoto and Elizabeth, brother John, and brothers and sister-in-law Al, Floyd, Jim and Brenda, who will all mis him. Bob will also be remembered by his nephew Paul, niece-in-law Karen, and their children Kyra and Andrew, and by many cousins. A private and soft-spoken person, Bob lived most of his life in Charleswood and spent much of his working life with the Parts Department at Gerry Gordon's Mazda, where he exhibited an almost encyclopedic knowledge of the parts for the various Mazda makes, models and years. Bob had many friends at work, especially Sandy, Lynette and Ron, and at the Charleswood Legion where he enjoyed visiting with Carla and frequently winning the meat draws. Bob enjoyed telling stories and jokes and making people laugh. A celebration of Bob's life will be held in May. Bob's family would like to thank the staff of Deer Lodge Hospital for their excellent care and the kindness shown to Bob. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation; to Deer Lodge Hospital, or to a charity of your choice.

Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • When I moved to Charleswood in 1962 Bob became one of my first friends. Those teenage years were wonderful in many ways, for it was a more innocent age, and I'm glad we could share so many pranks and good times together. Rest well, old friend. - Posted by: Richard Howes (friend) on: May 09, 2013

He will be sadly missed but always remembered. My prayers and thoughts go out to all the family and friends. - Posted by: Lynette (Co-worker) on: May 05, 2013
