Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHRISTINE RAE SCHAAK (nee GAMMELSETER) In Loving Memory Christine Schaak (nee Gammelseter) was born on May 17, 1945 in Winnipeg, MB. She died suddenly at home in Barriere, BC on February 26, 2013 at 67 years of age. Christine leaves behind her soul mate and friend of 46 years, John; sons Jason (Marnie), and Dana of Kamloops, BC; brothers Ralph (Delores), Jim Miller, and Robert (Diane) of Winnipeg; sisters Ellen (Terry) and Maureen (Al) of Winnipeg; grandchildren Erik, Kayla, Emily, Nicole, Sanna and Lauren, all of Kamloops, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. Christine was predeceased by her father Ralph and her mother Ruth, as well as her infant son, Jason. A private family memorial honouring Christine was held Saturday, March 9 2013. Her sparkling spirit lives on in our memories.

Sorry to hear of Christine's passing. Grew up on Loretta ave with the Gammelsetters and always had a lot of fun wether it was going to the club 13 dances or just getting a group together to pay pickup baseball or hide an go seek in the willows.
