Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Mr. Munday was always ready to share a story, listen to cares, play cribbage, or to "just be there" as I was growing up and later when Wayne and I would visit him on 4th Ave. We enjoyed hearing him moan about his bad golf game... We sure hope that we are still golfing after 80! He had a unique sense of humour and will be missed by all who had the privilege of sharing a cup of coffee with him. Thinking of all of the family at this time, Bev (Thompson)& Wayne Smith - Posted by: Bev & Wayne Smith (friends) on: Mar 24, 2013

  • I knew Mr. Munday when his daughter Linda & I were best buddies while in high school in Dauphin. Several years ago Mr. Munday & I spoke on the phone when I was attempting to reconnect with Linda & we had such a pleasant conversation. Glad to know that he lived a long & full life. Condolences to Linda, Sean & Kelly & all the members of their family. - Posted by: Leslie Coppell (High school friend of Linda) on: Mar 24, 2013

  • It is with fond memory that I remeber Uncle Charlie! My favourite uncle as we shared the same birthday. I would always look forward to his yearly Christmas cards with all the family news! Condolences to Cheryl, Linda and Ken and families. - Posted by: Darla (Farrell) Ripley (Niece) on: Mar 24, 2013

  • Cheryl, Linda & Ken, We are on vacation in Mexico and Rhonda emailed us this sad news. I have fond memories of Uncle Charlie as I was growing up and had a nice visit with him a few years ago on my way home from Swan River - he made dinner for us. We always enjoyed his newsy letters at Christmas and knew he was failing when they stopped. We are sorry that we can't be with you ay this time, but should keep in touch. rrummery@mymts.net. - Posted by: Nancy & Rob Rummery (Niece) on: Mar 24, 2013
