Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANCELINA DEWAR 1934 - 2013 Peacefully on Wednesday March 20, 2013, at Victoria General Hospital, Francelina Dewar passed away with her family by her side. She leaves to mourn her passing beloved husband and best friend, Donald; children, Maria (Bob) Esmeralda, Carlos, Ana (Henry); grandchildren, Cindy (Jason), Kelly, Jessica (Jeff), Christopher, Kevin and Patrick; great-grandchild, Easla; sister, Ines as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Francelina was predeceased by her first husband, Jose; parents, Jose and Teresa; brothers, Antonio, Jose, Januario and Manuel. Francelina was born in the Santa Maria, Azores, Portugal coming to Winnipeg in June of 1972. She moved to Victoria in 2002, following her love for the ocean, mountains and year round blossoms. The family would like to thank the staff of the ICU and north 6 at the VGH. Special thanks to Dr. Boyle and Dr. S. Critchley. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima, 4635 Elk Lake Drive, Victoria, B.C., on Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. P. Ho, celebrant. Interment to follow at Royal Oak Burial Park. Sequoia Gardens Memorial 250-658-6202

I had a dream about Francelima last night. I haven’t seen her or Butch since the Atlas Graham days where I worked with them for 5 years. Her presence wouldn’t leave me and she seemed very happy. It made me look her up and this is how I found out she passed. I am so sorry for the whole family especially Butch as I know how much he loved her.
