  • Please accept my belated sincere condolences to the loss of your mom Luise Wiens. She was my aunty and I met her only once when I was just a young boy in Germany. I am very sad to read about this today while I was trying to find you (the family) on the internet. I live in Australia since 1992 and I wish I could find a way get in contact with you. • I remember the first time I meet Oma. She welcomed me into her heart and it was clear to see that she was a precious to all who knew her. One of my favourite gifts were the slippers she knitted and gave me Christmas 1990. She left an impact on me and I'm sure of countless others too. • Dear Oma, when I first met you, being far away from home, you gave me a big hug and offered me straight away to call you Oma. You cooked a lovely German dinner for me and I was lucky enough to get to know you, a great woman who had gone through a lot in life. I will never forget your kindness and your heartwarming personality! You and your great family who you can be truly proud of, made my time in Canada something very special and surely unforgettable. Thank you for every minute of your wonderful company. You will be truly missed by many people because you were an outstanding woman. May you rest in peace. • Our Oma was such an amazing and beautiful person. With her rosey cheeks, kind eyes and huge heart she made such a positive impact on everyone she met. Her spirit lives on in a room smelling of fresh baking, in the sweet voices of children singing songs such as Jesus Loves Me, in a blanket that has been knitted with much time/love, in a prayer praising Jesus for his countless blessings, or simply in the kindness of everyday words. Our Oma will be missed so immensely because she spent her whole life making people feel loved, wanted and special. We are so blessed to have had Oma be such a big part of our life. We will miss her so much but will seek comfort in knowing we will be with her again in heaven. - Posted by: Lindsie and Alan Pearson (Grandchildren ) on: Mar 30, 2013
