GARY ROSS PARK With great sadness we announce the passing of Gary Park on Monday, March 25, 2013 at the age of 76 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Sheila; son Darrell, granddaughter Terra (Corey) Quinn and great-granddaughter Jayde and granddaughter Kyla and their mother Charlene; son Kevin (Amanda), grandsons Ryan and Kyle and their mother Kelly. Gary was an only child but had many aunts, uncles and cousins who cherish his memory. Being an only child, Sheila's family became his family and he will be dearly missed by his brothers-in-law Laurie (Danae) Peaker and Gordon (Anne) Tidsbury, sister-in-law Dianne (Al) Tink and their families as well as many dear friends. A Celebration of Gary's life will be held at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. led by Rev. Beth Kerr. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Gary's memory to Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 21 Royal Road S., Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 1T8 or to a charity of your choice. Gary, You were a kind, caring and smart man. A good husband and father. I always enjoyed the opportunity to just sit and chat with you. You seldom sat in judgement of others and always left me feeling motivated. I have never shared a conversation you and I had when I was younger and trying to find my path. Your advise was carrying, thoughtful and engaged my sense of self worth. I will never forget that Gary. Bon Voyage and enjoy the back nine (pssst, there are no traps there).
