KEITH JARVIS 1928 - 2013 On Tuesday, April 2, 2013 our "Mr. Wonderful", Keith Jarvis passed peacefully at the Eatonville Care Centre after a long battle with Alzheimer's. His joyful spirit will be missed by his loving wife Audrey, children Kathy (Frank), Jim (Brenda), Maureen (Kieran), Ted (Lisa), 13 grandchildren and his sisters Patricia and Kathleen. Keith grew up in Leslieville, Toronto. He attended St. Michael's High School and went on to graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Toronto. At the start of his 37 year career with Atlas Alloys, Keith moved to Winnipeg where he met his lifelong soul mate, Audrey Mahon. Keith enjoyed an incredible 55 year marriage and was an ever-present, loving husband and father. His gentle spirit reflected a beautiful balance in life. He loved tennis, golf, squash, and world travel. A man of deep faith, his gift of graceful giving went beyond family as Keith and Audrey teamed up to volunteer at the church, high school, local grade schools and numerous charities. The family is indebted to the faithful devotion of Keith's care giver of five years, Diego Silang, and the staff at Eatonville Care Centre. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas Street West, Etobicoke (between Islington and Kipling Aves.) on Friday, April 5, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. A celebration of Keith's life will be held Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Nativity of our Lord Church, 480 Rathburn Road, Etobicoke at 12 noon. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
