CYNTHIA LOUISE OSBORNE August 24, 1964 - April 2, 2013 Peacefully, after a long struggle with her health, Cindy went home on April 2, 2013. She is survived by her children, Errol (Susie) and Ondreiz, Kimberly (Lyndon) and Allan, and Tyler and husband, Brian Campbell. She was predeceased by her sons, Allan Campbell and Vernon Cameron, siblings, Helen Betty, Kalvin, Gordon, Tommy and Wallace Franklin, and parents, Joseph and Justine Osborne. Cindy was born in Norway House and raised in Rossville by her adoptive family, the Cromarty's. She moved to Winnipeg in her early twenties. She absolutely loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed the times that she was able to spend with them. She enjoyed the many friendships she developed over the years and when she was no longer able to visit, she spent many hours on the phone with family and friends. Cindy was very proud to represent her family as a trustee on the Helen Betty Osborne Memorial Foundation and worked tirelessly to raise funds for the bursary program. Her candour and humour will be sadly missed. A service of remembrance will be held on Monday, April 8, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at Kateri Parish, 794 Ellice Ave, Winnipeg. Cindy will then be taken home to Norway House on Monday, April 8, 2013, for a traditional wake service and a funeral mass will be held at the Norway House R.C. Mission Church on Wednesday, April 10, 2013. All family and friends from Norway House and Cross Lake are to consider themselves honourary pallbearers. Boardman-Northland Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
