ARTUR SOLOMON The family sadly announces his passing on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at age 87 after a short battle with cancer. Loving and devoted husband of late Maria Solomon, he is survived by his son Adrian, daughter Marta, son-in-law George Vasluianu and granddaughter Rebecca. Artur was born in Romania and he was a Philosophy teacher. His life was devoted to his family and he was the happiest when he was surrounded by them. He was an inspiration to all who knew him and a source of joy, laughter and wisdom to many. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends near and far. The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Shaarey Zedek Synagogue, 561 Wellington Crescent. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses and staff at the Health Sciences Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or to the charity of choice.
