Lynn,Derek and Brent Living across the street, I got to know your mother fairly well, but not so much your father, as he lived mostly in Quebec due to his employment. Since they have passed on some time ago, I am sure you must miss them, with the grandchildren you have given them. I am glad to hear that they had grandchildren to enjoy. I had not seen your mother in a long time due to moving out of the area, but thought about her many times, and wondered how she was doing. When my ex husband and I split up, she was a good friend to me, and we spent many coffee breaks with her trying to encourage me and listen to my feelings. I will always remember her for the companionship she offered me at that time. We enjoyed quite a few long walks together. She was a kind person and a good neighbor. Your parents will live with you all in your special memories you have of them. My sincere condolences to all of you. - Posted by: Janet Rathwell (Neighbor across the street on Hedges Bay) on: Apr 14, 2013
