ELSIE HELEN PRATT (nee GABEL) July 20, 1918 - April 8, 2013 On April 8, 2013, after a lengthy illness, Elsie Helen Pratt passed away at the Lundar Personal Care Home at the age of 94 years. She will be missed by her nieces and nephews. Elsie is predeceased by her husband Russell, her parents Chris and Mary Gabel, a sister Cathleen and seven brothers Jack, Fred, Charlie, Art, Bill, John and Gus. Elsie was born on July 20, 1918 in Dog Lake, MB. She met Russell Pratt, married and farmed at Pebble Beach for many years. After they retired from farming they moved to Ashern to the Pioneer Manor where they resided together until Russell's passing in 1995. Elsie continued to reside in the Manor until 2003 and then moved to the Lundar Personal Care Home where she lived until her passing. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Graveside Service at the Camper Cemetery will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the E. M. Crowe Memorial Hospital in Eriksdale and the staff of the Lundar Personal Care Home for the support and care they gave Elsie over the years.
