KATHLEEN LEDGER Kathleen Ledger died April 6, 2013 at Vista Cove Care Center in San Gabriel at the age of 99. She was one and a half months away from celebrating her 100th birthday. Kathleen was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Laura and Albert Edwards. She worked for Parliament for the province of Manitoba and met and married Eric Ledger. They moved to San Gabriel, CA in 1953 where Kathleen worked for the San Gabriel Chamber of Commerce for many years. She was part of the Welcome Wagon group which welcomed people to San Gabriel and she greatly enjoyed this. She loved meeting people and welcoming people into the community. Kathleen was much loved by her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eric. She is survived by her children: Ed Ledger, Seattle, Jo-Anne Johnson, Mercer Island, WA, John Ledger, Salem, OR and Rick Ledger, San Gabriel, CA, and her grandchildren: Rob Ledger, Hoboken, NJ and Laurie Ann Ledger, Salem, OR. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
