MARGARET THERESE SUBTELNY Peacefully on April 12, 2013, at Health Sciences Center, Margaret Subtelny passed away at the age of 67 years with her family by her side. Margaret leaves to mourn her passing her husband Morris, daughter Stephanie, sister Jenny, sisters-in-law Stella and Virginia, brothers-in-law Slawko and Mike and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother and father Molly and Harry Holowatiuk, brother Mike, sisters Olga and Emily, nephew Kerry and niece Pearl. Margaret was born on December 14, 1945. She was born and raised in Flin Flon, and went to Keewatin College in The Pas. She met Morris in Flin Flon in 1972, and they were married on October 6, 1973. Stephanie arrived on September 1, 1974. Morris and Marge lived in Flin Flon until 1976, and moved to Thompson for one year before moving to Winnipeg in 1977. Marge enjoyed spending time with family, taking drives in the country, going home to Flin Flon and spending time with family at her sister's cabin. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. Prayers 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, at St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 250 Jefferson Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Funeral Mass 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2013, at Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Ethelbert Manitoba.
