GEOFFREY (GEOFF) T. WHEELER 1945 - 2013 Geoff passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, April 15, 2013. Left to grieve Geoff's parting are his mother Eileen Wheeler; Uncle and Aunt Alan and Susan Cowell; Uncle Donald (Beryl) and family in England; cousins, Mark Cowell, Linda (Robert) Gate, Bill (Renie) Thiry, Janet (Craig) Martin, Debbie (Joey) Snyder, Dale Mantie, Dean (Nicole) Mantie; as well as many cousins, family and friends. Geoff spent the past 15 years working at Wal-Mart Unicity. He was a quiet man who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He was a friend to all who met him and would put himself out to do for others. Geoff will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His joys in life were spending time with his mother, family and friends. He was an avid movie buff and enjoyed collecting everything. On Friday, April 19, 2013 a Celebration of Geoff's Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. in St. Charles Roman Catholic Church, 320 St. Charles Street with The Rev. Deacon Robert Gate, presiding. Interment will follow in St. Charles Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to your favorite charity. I will always remember Geoff as a kind compassionate man! He was always ready to help out at work. He would always share his latest movie purchase with me.
