CLIVE BROOKS Passed away suddenly at home, with his wife by his side, on April 17, 2013 at age 78. Clive leaves to mourn his loving wife of 52 years, Judy, son Scott (Lisa), daughters Lesley (Ron) Thorvaldson, Kim (Wayne) Tucker and grandchildren, Tyler, Brooke, Steven, Brett, Adam, Kara and Paige. Clive was raised in Selkirk, Manitoba, where he worked at Manitoba Rolling Mills for 43 great years and was a proud member of the Selkirk Fire Department. Clive spent his life participating in sports and enjoyed curling, golf, baseball, hockey, football, bowling, badminton, hunting and fishing, but his greatest love was his family. He was extremely proud of his grandchildren and was thrilled to spend time with them. Clive enjoyed many trips with Judy and they loved spending time at their family cottage. He cherished his many friends during his busy fulfilled life. He was a well-respected machinist, possessing great mechanical abilities. Clive was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone requiring assistance and could build or repair almost anything. As per Clive's wishes, cremation will take place and a private family ceremony will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to a charity of your choice.
