ROBERT COHEN March 20, 1954 - April 11, 2013 With heavy hearts and surrounded by his family, Rob passed away peacefully. He leaves behind his wife Debbie, of 37 years, son Micah (Michelle), daughter Alana (Orin), sister Rochelle, nephews Ben and Marc, mother-in-law Anne, sisters-in-law Carol (Stan), Barb (Jim), nephew John (Ashley) and their children Jack and Nixon. He was predeceased by his parents Lorne and Clarice, and father-in-law Myron. Rob was the one who could say anything, to anyone, anywhere, and get away with it - always leaving them wanting more. He was the master of inappropriateness and touched all that came into his life. He had a knack for enjoying life and surrounded himself with people he enjoyed being with, and people who enjoyed being with him. Rob fought a courageous battle with cancer and chose to fight it with dignity and humour. For all the sad times that were, there will be many more spent with joy and laughter, remembering the one who fought to the end with a smile. The family would like to thank Dr. Yun, Dr. Ho, Dr. Renouf, the rest of the staff at the Richmond Hospital CancerCare Clinic and The B.C. Cancer Agency. To all those who touched Rob's life during his battle, many, many thanks. Funeral services were held on April 14 at Beth Tikvah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the B.C. Cancer Agency.
