Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHEODORE (TED) PATRICK BESKO On Saturday, April 20, 2013, peacefully after a brief illness, Theodore (Ted) Patrick Besko passed away surrounded by his family at Victoria General Hospital. Ted is remembered by Fran, brother Bobby (Carol), sons Chris (Jacqueline), Tim, Geoff (Shelley) and daughter Kim (Tim), grandchildren Sam, Lauren, Gillian, Katie, Nicolas and Charlie, as well as many nieces and nephews. Ted was predeceased by his father Peter and mother Stephanie. Ted was a practicing lawyer of many years, and was actively involved in the community, whether it was coaching football, running for political office, or as a past Grand Master of the Independent Order of Oddfellows. He enjoyed lively discussion on current events, sports, road trip vacations and many fishing trips with his children. Ted got his greatest pleasure in the accomplishments of his children and grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of both Victoria General Hospital and St. Boniface Hospital for the care and efforts they took to make Ted comfortable during his brief illness. A Memorial Service for Ted will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 25 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. A private family interment will happen at a later date. In lieu of flowers a donation in Ted's memory can be made to Victoria General Hospital Foundation. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044
