EDITH ELVIRA JONASSON November 7, 1921 - April 23, 2013 Edith passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in Winnipeg, MB. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Oli; parents Charles and Hilda Palmquist; her siblings and their spouses, Edwin (Margaret) Palmquist, Ragnar Palmquist, Francis (Kay) Palmquist, Agnes (Helge) Berglund, Ellen (Hilding) Berglund, Thelma (Jim) Burnett, Henry (Margaret) Palmquist, and Stan (Irene) Palmquist; her grandson Scott, and her daughter-in-law Nancy. Edith leaves to cherish her memory her son Gerry Jonasson, grandson Christopher; daughter Elaine Darragh (Gary); grandchildren Kristy, Lori (Allan), and Matt, numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A service celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Eternal Grace Chapel at the corner of Logan Ave. and McPhillips St. Rev. Milly Malavsky officiating. She will be interred with her husband Oli at Thomson "In the Park" Cemetery with a private service at a later date.
