ANN LOEPPKY Ann Loeppky, 81, passed away on April 19, 2013 at Tuxedo Villa Care Home in Winnipeg, MB. She was born on January 3, 1932 in Duff, SK to Cornelius and Anna (Krahn) Ketler. Ann grew up in Winkler, MB. She began work at the local cannery as a worker on the production line. Ann then began work at the telephone system as a switchboard operator. She retired in 1997 after working 17 years at Hudson's Bay Company in the Paddle Wheel Restaurant. Ann married Menno Loeppky in 1950 in Winkler, MB. They were happily married for 34 years, living in Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary, and Sheerness and finally returning to Winnipeg in 1966. Ann was preceded in death by her husband Menno, her parents Cornelius and Anna, siblings Mary, Edward, Cornelius, Elsie, Arthur, and Menno. Ann is survived by her children Brenda (Dennis Carr), Wayne (Noreen Kolesar) and Lynette (John Delaney); her grandchildren Denise, Ashli, Scott, Travis, and Joshua; her great-grandchildren Morgan, and Carson; and her nieces and nephews and other relatives. A memorial service will be held at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 59 Academy Road at 2:00 p.m., May 1, 2013. A reception will follow the service at the church. Burial will precede the service at 12:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main St. The family would like to thank Tuxedo Villa Care Home for their kindness and care during Mom's stay there.
