Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCAROLINE (KAY) WOOD (nee KENDY) It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Kay Wood, our beloved Mother, on April 21, 2013 at Lions Personal Care Centre. Respecting Mom's wishes, a formal service will not be held. Cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at a later date. Kay was predeceased by her husband Gerry in 1994 and is survived by her children Richard, Cheryl (Doug), Beverly, and Jeff (Jo-Anne), grandchildren Nathan, Christian, Brett, and Lexi, Kay's sister Ann, and many other family and friends. Kay was a strong, caring, and generous person with a great sense of humour. She enjoyed playing Bingo, the flowers in her yard, family gatherings and she adored her grandchildren. Mom (Granny), we love you and will cherish your memory forever. A special thank you to the 3rd floor staff of LPCC for all their kindness and the care extended to Mom. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kay's memory may be made to Lions Personal Care Centre, 320 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2W6 or the charity of your choice.
