Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROY EDWARD BATENCHUK It is with great sadness we announce the sudden, but peaceful, passing of our father Roy Edward Batenchuk on Wednesday, April 17, 2013. Born at St. Boniface Hospital December 5, 1943 to Joseph Batenchuk of Arbourg, and Lena Zytaruk of Gardenton, MB. He was predeceased by his father, his mother, aged 97 is thankfully still with us. He leaves behind his loving children Kevin, Dann and Leanne, Dann's wife Liz and his beautiful grandchildren William and James. Ed was the third of six boys. His brothers Cliff, Ray, Ken, Bill and Don as well as their families all share in our grief. There was a private family ceremony held this past Wednesday at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1291 McGillivray, Winnipeg, MB. I grew up on Clarence Ave three doors down from Eddie and his brothers. There are many fine memories of all the guys hanging at Soens, Eddie being one of the quiet ones as I recall. I am really shocked and saddened to hear of his passing and offer my sincere condolences to you all.
