Joyce was a good friend and co-worker. We often shared conversations about our grandchildren. And how proud she was of her grandson. Walter, our deepest sympathy go out to you and your family at this time. We know how great your loss is. But she is no longer suffering and may it comfort you to know that she is now an angel in the Lord's house, looking down on her family. - Posted by: Sally Prokopsky (Friend) on: May 03, 2013

Many people benefited from having Joyce in their lives however long or short it was. My thoughts and prayers are with all her loved ones, from whom it was easy to tell she cared for deeply. - Posted by: Darlene Girard (Former Co-Worker) on: May 03, 2013

It is always hard to lose a loved one, but may the knowledge that Joyce is no longer in pain bring your family comfort. I'm sure she's busy visiting with Mom, Granny, Uncle George and Aunty Astrid. - Posted by: Ruth Arnold (Walter's cousin) on: May 02, 2013

Joyce was not only my sister in-law, she was my friend. The best companion my brother could ever have had... and 40 years together was certainly not long enough. I was a teenager when they met, and she graciously tolerated my antics. During some awkward years I also found sanctuary in their home, and Joyce always welcomed me. Of course, I also provided free babysitting services... so there was that. Joyce could take $20 and turn it into a mountain of gifts under the Christmas tree. Her house was a home, filled with crafts and nicknacks... but most of all the warmth and love of a caring wife, a loving mother, and my dear friend. - Posted by: Robert Myers (Brother in-law) on: May 01, 2013

Walter, so sorry to hear of your loss. We all hate to lose a loved one, but sometimes it's much harder to see them suffer. Take some comfort that Joyce has gone to a better place and can rest easy. - Posted by: Art Cain (cousin to deceased's husband) on: May 01, 2013
