Bill is survived by two brothers Ted (Anne) from Fisher Branch, MB and Joe (Helen) from Winnipeg, MB, and one sister Julie (Rene Vermette) from Morris, MB, as well as many nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his parents John and Josefa (nee Okulicka), his brothers Eddie and John, his sisters Adeleine Smith and Jean Woloshyn, sister-in-law Helen Kon, as well as his brothers-in-law John Woloshyn and John Smith. Bill was born in Poland and came to Canada with his parents and two of his siblings in 1927. He returned home to the family farm in 1946. Bill farmed for many years and took care of his ageing parents. Several years after his parents passed away, Bill retired and moved first to Teulon, then to his last residence in Selkirk where he passed away. The family wishes to thank Bill's niece Cindy for taking care of Bill's affairs after his retirement. They would also like to thank the nurses and staff at the Tudor House for taking care of Bill. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 4 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fisher Funeral Home, 70 Tache St. in Fisher Branch, MB.
