Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRAYMOND MCMANUS October 17, 1922 - April 22, 1013 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Raymond Aeneas McManus of Langley, BC. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 70 years, Mildred (nee Blair); children Beverley (Peter Havixbeck) Prystenski, Barbara (Blair) McColl; son-in-law Frank Ward; grandchildren Shelly (Ward) Dueck, Debra Ward, Dawn Prystenski, Arlene Prystenski, Jennifer (Ken) Masse, Wendy Prystenski, Daniel (Maria) Nekrash; great-grandchildren Pete Dueck, Elie Dueck, Mathew Dueck, William Masse and Kai Nekrash. Dad was predeceased by his parents James and Margaret (Sharkey) McManus; brothers James Charles, John Edward, James Basil; sisters Kathleen and Florence; daughter Gail Ward in 1989; and son-in-law William Prystenski in 2008. Dad was born and raised in Winnipeg, lived in Transcona and worked for Manitoba Hydro. In 1990 Mom and Dad moved to Langley, BC and he enjoyed another 22 years of retirement. Cremation has taken place and a private family gathering was held at his home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

I worked with Ray at Manitoba Hydro back in the 1950's (known as the MPC back in those days). Ray was a great guy to work with, and a lot of fun to know. I haven't seen him since 1960, but remember him well. - Posted by: Don McAmmond (friend) on: May 06, 2013
