JOAN ROCHELLE ROBERTS (DICKS) May 15, 1937 - May 4, 2013 With heavy hearts, we sadly announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Joan Roberts, on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Goodwin Lodge. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Heather (Allan), her son Wayne (Julianna), her granddaughter Melissa (Michael), her grandsons Derek (Ashley), Adam (Brandi), Mathew, Owen and Patrick, and her three beautiful great-granddaughters Lux, Victoria and Raeanna. Joan is also survived by her brother Doug (Merle), her sisters-in-law Karen Roberts and Alma Lobban, her brothers and sisters-in-law Bob and Pat Roberts, Percy and Irene Roberts, Edward and Margaret Roberts, Albert and Ruth Nelson and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Joan was predeceased by her parents, Stewart and Florence Dicks and her son, Raymond Roberts. Joan's grandchildren meant the world to her and she loved being a Grandma. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her face would light up during every visit. Cremation has taken place and as per Joan's wishes, there will be no formal service held. The family wishes to express our sincere gratitude to the nursing, housekeeping, dietary and laboratory staff of Goodwin Lodge in Teulon. If friends so desire, donations can be made to Goodwin Lodge in honour of Joan's memory.
