RAFFAELLA CAPOZZI (nee SICILIANO) Surrounded by her loving family, Raffaella Capozzi passed away on May 8, 2013. Raffaella leaves to mourn her beloved husband Alberto. She is also survived by two brothers, Egidio Siciliano (Franca), Gerardo Siciliano (Giovanna), sister Amelia Romeo (late Antonio Romeo), brother-in-law Santillo Capozzi (Anna) and sister-in-law Ida De Rosa of Italy. She also leaves to mourn numerous nieces and nephews in Canada; Linda Mauthe (Bob), Michael Capozzi, Maria Capozzi, Mario Siciliano (Janay), Caterina Romeo-Mzakar (Ben), Lucia Siciliano (Vergil), Linda Romeo (Todd), Marianna Vieira (Paulo), Franco Siciliano, and great-nieces, nephews; Andrew, Melissa, Nicolas, Daniel, Rio, Alexa, Noah, Olivia and extended family and friends in Canada, Italy and Australia. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Teodolinda and Mariano Siciliano. Raffaella was born on December 12, 1936 in Castrolibero, Cosenza, Italy. She moved to Winnipeg in 1962 to join her brothers and sister. She enjoyed spending quality time entertaining family and friends, and was very proud of her Italian culture and heritage. Raffaella was actively involved in her Catholic faith and was a kind, generous, and caring individual with a great sense of humour. She also took a keen interest in current events. She was a skilled embroiderer; an art she learned in Italy at a young age. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Poseidon Care Centre. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday May 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Avenue with Father Sam Argenziano celebrant, and visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will take place at Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum, 1501 Waverley Street. The pallbearers will be: Todd Bezak, Michael Capozzi, Bob Mauthe, Andrew Mauthe, Ben Mzakar, Franco Siciliano and Paulo Vieira. Riposa in pace.'
