LILLIAN GROSS (nee KOZUSZOK) May 14, 1930 May 4, 2013 It is with great sadness that the family of Lillian Gross announces her passing after her battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her birth father Steven Kozuszok, brother Bill Kaye, her parents Alex and Anne Bryndio and her husband Robert Gross. Lillian will be lovingly remembered by her son Robin, daughter Crystal (Greg) and grandchildren Ashley, Darris and Destiny, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Lillian was born in Winnipeg and grew up in the North End. Growing up, she sang in a choir, learned Ukrainian dance and how to play the mandolin. She worked at many places including The Bay, where she was a cashier. She gave this job up to start a family and take care of her children. She went back to work as a manager at the Grant Motor Inn lounge before moving onto Canada Post. There, she was a clerk until retirement and was given a lifetime membership to the Canadian Union of Postal Workers after her work as a shop steward for the union. Lillian loved her dogs. She would always have memories to share of her beloved Jacques. She also loved to travel. After Robert's passing, she explored Europe and fell in love with Cuba later in life. Following her wishes there will be no service. In lieu of flowers donations in Lillian's memory may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, D'Arcy's ARC, or CancerCare Manitoba. A sincere thank you to Dr. K. Wyant, Dr. P. Daeninck, nurse Ola F., and Verna from homecare as well as the doctors, nurses and staff at Riverview Health Centre for your compassion and care during Lillian's difficult days.

Our sympathies to the family. We both worked with Lillian and Robyn at the Graham St. plant. Lillian always had a smile and was always willing to take on the boss. You fought the good fight Lillian, RIP. Hats off to Robyn for the care he gave to his mom. Dave and Toni Hays - Posted by: Dave Hays (friend/co-worker) on: May 13, 2013
