Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Many Condolences on the loss of your Mom Valerie, David, Stephen and your families. Your Mom was one of a kind, the best kind. Love Ferone, Larry, Michael, Stephen & Nadin Kronstein. - Posted by: Ferone Kronstein (friend) on: May 17, 2013

  • I first met Vera when I was about 13 1/2. The late 50's. A night after Valerie and I walked home from the skating rink in the pouring rain. Vera was just wonderful and she made sure that we dried off and had some great triple decker sandwiches. Her fridge was well stocked with such great things to eat. I spent many weekends in their home and loved talking with her. Her favorite song was "Going to take a Sentimental Journey" and I often hear it over the years and always think about those days long ago. She was loving and so good to me in those days. I will never forget her or the days spent in that house. Vera is on her "Sentimental Journey" to find family and friends. RIP Vera, love you. - Posted by: Ferone Kronstein (Friend of Family) on: May 17, 2013

  • Deepest sympathies to the family. I have numerous memories of Vera when she'd come to visit in Winnipeg and many other times. She and my Mom, Elmira Young, were childhood friends from the "old days" in Elmwood. Good memories and good times. She will not be forgotten. Winnipeg, MB. - Posted by: Karen Young-Jamerson (old family friend's daughter in Winnipeg) on: May 16, 2013

  • What a wonderful outgoing Aunt. I will always remember her with laughter and just a little tear. Happy journey Aunty Vera. My sympathies to David, Val, Stephen, and Cris and their families. Vancouver BC - Posted by: Robert Nolette (Nephew) on: May 12, 2013
