NEILSON JOHN BULLOCH It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Neil Bulloch, of Stouffville, ON on Sunday, May 12, 2013, surrounded by the love of his family. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Maureen (nee Stiles), three daughters, Heather (Keith), Janice (Roland) and Lara (Bill), as well as six grandchildren, all of Ontario. He also leaves his cousins, Doug Elder and Donna Thompson, both of Winnipeg, as well as his sister-in-law Linda (Eric) Gilham and family of Winnipeg. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Stella Bulloch. Neil was born in Winnipeg, MB on August 30, 1939 and grew up in Norwood. He attended Norwood Collegiate and later Nelson McIntyre Collegiate, as well as United College (now the University of Winnipeg). He was a faithful member of Norwood United Church for many years. He began his working career at CN and later with Gulf Oil. It was while he was with Gulf Oil in 1970, that they found themselves being transferred to Toronto, and they have lived in the Toronto area ever since. Neil always maintained a close relationship with both family and friends in Winnipeg, always finding time to visit them while back home, regardless of how short his visit was. Neil's career was to take a different path away from the business world when both he and Maureen accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour and began their missionary work. They have been involved with International Teams of Canada for many years, ministering to many different religious groups. Funeral service for Neil will be held on Thursday, May 16 at 7:00 p.m. at Milliken Gospel Church, 8 Elson St., Markham, ON. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to FFM (ffmna.org) or to a charity of choice.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • I'm from Winnipeg and treasured visits I had while Neil was visiting his mom. I loved his passion for the Lord and desire that even the most difficult would come to the Savior. I was travelling and missed the announcement. May our Lord comfort you Maureen and the family. We're gonna miss him too. Ed(& Joy) - Posted by: Ed Loewen (ministry colleague) on: Jun 10, 2013

  • Neil was such a wonderful colleague in preparing visits over the past years for my Houghton College students when they came to Toronto to visit Muslims. I loved Neil and his testimony and his style. I now await seeing him again with the Lord. He served the Lord so well. May the Lord comfort you with tender memories. Affectionately in Christ.
