• Fondly remember the kid next door on Berry St. (Thomas Berry) I had a dark room in my home. Lou had a passion for photography. He would come over and learn darkroom techniques. • Lou was my friend. He taught me the art of photography and there are many beautiful memories of us going to take photographs. We always joked about how he was the Dutchman and I was the Greekman. • I first met Lou when I took a photography course offered through the Y.M.C.A. in St. Vital. I took a picture to show him what I was doing wrong in the photograph. It was a picture of four women, one including my mom. He recognized Joan Koss' mother in the picture. She was a first cousin to my mom and the other two ladies were also cousins. What a coincidence! • Lou, John, My brother Larry, Friend nickname Nanal & I were the best of friends. We didn't only have fun together but we also in trouble together. • Worked with Lou through Sooters Photography on main street many many years ago. He was a great guy. Used to come into the shop in the evenings to hang out as he was worried that I was a young girl working there alone, and he didn't think that was right. I will always remember him for this kindness. He became friends with my Mom and Dad and visted them in Komarno sometimes. He will be missed and remembered by my Mom and I, as my Dad has passed on as well.
