Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVERNON LESLIE ANDERSON September 10, 1942 - May 12, 2013 It is with great sadness and love, that we announce the passing of Vernon, after a brief battle with cancer. He will be lovingly remembered by a compassionate, devoted friend, Shigeko Tanaka (Calgary, AB), twin sister Myrtle Haibeck (Calgary AB), sister Alice McCuaig (Rick McRae, Petersfield MB), a nephew and four nieces. Vern was predeceased by parents, Olaf and Solveig, brother and sister-in-law, Ed & Liz, brother-in-law Bob McCuaig and niece Brenda Shanks. Vernon was born in Teulon, MB. and attended McFarlane School and later was a self-employed carpenter, working on elevators and at other points of interest in western Canada, till he resided in Calgary. At his request, cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held. Thank you to the staff at Southwood Care Centre in Calgary for your compassion.
