EVERETT ALEXANDER MORROW 1933 - 2013 Ev passed away peacefully, in the arms of his family, at the Assiniboine Centre in Brandon, Manitoba on May 11, 2013. Ev leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Ann (nee Dezeng); his daughter Shannon Morrow Stritz (Geoff), granddaughter Sydney; son Shane (Heather), and grandchildren Hayden and Grace. Ev was predeceased by his parents James and Esther, sister Edith, brother-in-law Ralph, brother Melvin, and sister-in-law Geraldine. Ev worked for the C.P.R. as a telegrapher and station agent until 1971. He then moved his family to the family farm which he purchased in 1967. Along with farming, Ev managed and drove for Mound Milk Transport until he retired in 2000. In 2008 the Morrow family celebrated their Centennial on the farm S.E. 28-3-10. Later that year the farm was sold and Ev and Ann retired to Manitou. The family would like to thank Dr. Kessier and all the staff on 3rd floor and Palliative Care at Assiniboine Centre. A celebration of life service will take place on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at the Blair Morrison Hall in La Riviere, MB at 12:00 p.m. Private interment will take place at the Greenwood Cemetery in Pilot Mound, MB.
