THIESSEN Abe Thiessen passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach with his family at his side. He was 80 years old and will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Adella, son Dwayne (Debra), daughters Jennifer (Orville), Rebecca (Ray), Barbara (Mike) and son Joe (Corinne), along with 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The funeral service in honour of Abe's life will be held at the Rosenort E.M. Church on Thursday, May 23 at 2:00 p.m. with interment at the Rosenort Cemetery. There will be viewing at 1:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee.
