Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRAYMOND JACK (RJ) KONEFALL October 28, 1938 - May 17, 2013 It is with profound sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our father RJ Konefall at the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital, surrounded by family on May 17, 2013. Born in St. Boniface, Manitoba, RJ resided in Nanaimo for the last 10 years, close to his children and grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father Stephen, mother Elphie, and brother Norman. RJ will be lovingly remembered by his children Stephanie, Amy, Kevin, Christian, and Anthony, siblings Robert Ludwig, Douglas Love and Jane Campbell, grandchildren Kyle, Christine, Marrin, Miles, Paige, Benjamin, and Jamie as well as numerous extended family and friends. A champion for all children, RJ enjoyed his trips to the family home in Tofino, fishing, was an avid reader, and enjoyed many sunny afternoons in his garden, surrounded by family. Flowers are gratefully declined. For those so desiring, donations may be made to RJ's favourite charities: The Red Cross or the Christian Children's Fund. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m., May 23, 2013 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 301 Machleary Street, Nanaimo. To "cousin Anthony", Amy et al....we remember your dad with a smile. So very sorry for the loss of this key player in your lives.
