Gerald will be greatly and forever missed. I feel honored to have the privilege to work at House of Hesed. Many days G had me laughing so hard my stomach hurt. His witty comments and one liners were always smooth a shocking. Some of my greatest memories were of when i was blessed enough to chat and pray with Gerald. Hearing about his life, his past and his hopes for the future. Gerald had determination and perseverance like I have never seen before. He honestly inspired me every single day. He often reminded me through his actions why I should fight so hard for the life Christ died for me to have. I have to say, there is now a "Gerald shaped hole" in Hesed. I cannot even find the words to express how blessed I feel to have had G in my life. I selfishly want him here with us, but I know that as I write this, Gerald is dancing down the streets of gold, hand in hand with Jesus. - Posted by: Kendra (Friend from House of Hesed) on: May 24, 2013

I work at Hesed and I always looked forward to seeing Papa G on my shifts. I always told him what an inspiration he was and how he always had a way of making me laugh. His sense of humour was incredible. Papa G was such a gentleman and he was loved dearly at Hesed. It was an honour to have known him and I feel Blessed to have been able to call him my friend. He is walking with the angels now and he will be greatly missed. Love you Papa G - Posted by: DaraLee (Friend from House of Hesed) on: May 24, 2013
