Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • I just noticed that your mother had passed away. My deepest condolences. Gene, you were my physical education teacher at John Pritchard from 1970-72. You were my Winnipeg Blue Bomber hero and I tell people about the time you kicked the soccer ball from one goal to the other. You are a great person, teacher, and a Blue Bomber. My nickname was "Stud". D'Arcy Surrette - Posted by: D'Arcy Surrette (Former student of Gene Lakusiak at John Pritchard in 1970-72.) on: Oct 21, 2017

  • Mr Lakusiak my heartfelt condolences on the passing of your mother. It has been 38 years and I'm glad you were my phys ed teacher in Jr. high school and you were my hero from the blue bombers. I am still a die hard Bomber fan but most of all I remember the grade nine and teachers flag football game at the end of the school year when you brought Don Jonas as a special surprise. That day has and will always be a fond memory for me. Wishing you health and happiness and God's blessings for many more years to come. - Posted by: Mr Lakusiak my heart felt condolenses on the passing of your mother it has been 38 years and I'm gla (former student from John Pritchard School) on: Nov 25, 2014
