Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDENISE ANDREA PAYJACK (nee LUSSIER) It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Denise, with her family at her side, on May 15, 2013. Denise is survived by her loving husband Joe, their children David, Debbie (Jim) and Alan (Jan), grandchildren Karen, Laura, Marnie, Craig, Neil, Lainie, Kyle, Mitchell, Brittany, and their little dog Abby. She also leaves behind her brother Rene Lussier (Mary), sister Lucille Rondeau (Donald), brother Bob Lussier (Claudette), sister-in-law Margaret Lussier, brother-in-law Edgar Clark, nieces and nephews, special friends Mary Reid and Lucille Schmidt. Denise was predeceased by her parents Gerard and Irene Lussier, brother Donald, and sister Norma. Denise was born in St. Leon, Manitoba May 28, 1933. It was during her stay in Winnipeg, while attending Success Business College, on a frigid February evening in 1950 she and Joe met at a popular dance club. They dated, became engaged in 1951 and on July 5, 1952 they were married in the Catholic Church in Somerset. They recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. In their formative years the family moved several times due to company relocations. Summer vacations were spent at various Manitoba beaches, campgrounds and travelling throughout Canada, the western United States and Mexico. There are many fond memories of family times at their cottage in Whytewold and countless gatherings at the family home in their sunroom overlooking the Assiniboine River. Denise was a dedicated, loving wife and mother, and selfless in giving to her family and many friends. She is now in God's safe keeping, awaiting our arrival. Goodnight Sweetheart. Love Always Joe and Family. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the St. Boniface Hospital staff for their care and compassion at this most difficult time. There will be a celebration of Denise's life on what would have been her 80th birthday, Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenlawn.ca Glen Lawn Funeral Home 204-982-7550

My condolences to the family of Denise. She was a wonderful person all the years we grew up together in Somerset as neighbors. We had so much fun skating, bowling and watching our children grow. Denise is with the Lord but always in my heart. I am so sorry I missed the funeral but my son, Larry, had just passed away on the 20th. I pass along my love to her family. What a beautiful person! `Hard to believe Denise would be turning 80, and even harder to believe she won't be welcoming guests in her home to help celebrate. Our last memory is of watching Denise gardening in a container on their deck ... adding to the joy of Spring and its new life. Denise was a valued neighbour. She will be well-remembered and much-missed. - Posted by: Noreen & Glenn Duncan (Neighbour) on: May 28, 2013

Auntie Denise was the most patient, loving, thoughtful, and kind person I know. She was soft-spoken and very hardworking; always ready to lend a hand or whip up a delicious meal for anyone who happened to stop in. She was a beautiful person, both inside and out. She had a heart of gold and I always felt very loved by her. I am truly grateful to have so many beautiful memories of times and talks shared with her and Uncle Joe throughout the years. May God Bless Auntie Denise's soul and Uncle Joe, David, Debbie, Alan and families. Miss you all and love you lots. Dawn - Posted by: Dawn Marie Lussier (Niece) on: May 27, 2013
